What’s been happening:

Well, I've been pretty busy. I went on to complete my master's degree at Edinboro University for a masters of social work. I am now working as a drug and alcohol counselor in Mercer, PA. I moved back to the mercer county area in June 2008. I am engaged to be married in a year to Andrew Laverock Jr. My daughter's name is Keara A. Laverock and she will be 2 years old April 25th. I currently live in West Middlesex my hometown where I grew up and went to high school. My degree status has yet to assist me in finding my dream job. I hope to teach social work someday at the Penn State Shenango Campus. My most memorable experience at Penn State Shenango was when the HDFS club did community events for the children and I participated greatly in them as a Vice President of the club. I really enjoyed the many opportunities given to me when I was receiving my education. Not only do I miss the small classes, the one on one contact with the professors, but also the students. I have grown to be a leader and have developed the necessary skills to be resourceful in my research. To all of the future students, have fun and make sure that you always take your education seriously but also make light of the stressful times. Take care!
